Tested for the Journey: Our Luggage Durability Standards

Every journey is a test. We make sure your luggage passes — before you even pack.

At Jekyll & Hide, we believe luxury should last. That’s why every piece in our luggage collection — from Cabin to Large Spinner Trolley — undergoes a suite of rigorous durability tests. Built with premium materials and engineered to meet the challenges of real-world travel, our luggage is tested for trust, tested for time.

Our Luggage Testing Process

Telescopic HANDLE TEST

Each suitcase is loaded with 25 kg and repeatedly dropped and stopped by the telescopic handle over 300 cycles to test handle strength and overall durability.

Carry HANDLE TEST

Each suitcase is loaded with 25 kg and dropped using the side carry handle over 300 cycles to test its strength and overall durability.

Mileage test

Each suitcase, loaded with 25 kg, is rolled at a 45° angle over 32 km on a rough-surface treadmill to test its durability on uneven terrain.

Drop test

We test our luggage by dropping each 25 kg-loaded suitcase from 90 cm onto surfaces, edges, and corners to ensure strength and resilience.

Built to Endure. Crafted to Impress.

Our luggage isn’t just tested in labs — it’s tested in life. Whether you're hauling it through Heathrow, rolling through Rome, or storing it overhead in Tokyo, it’s built to stand up to the demands of modern travel.

This page is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency, craftsmanship, and customer confidence.
