    Jekyll & Hide

    EXTERIOR

    FULL GRAIN LEATHER

Full-grain leather is the gold standard, because it remains untouched by sanding, shaving, or splitting, it retains the hide’s original strength and character.

At Jekyll & Hide, we favour this uncompromising material because it doesn’t just last; it matures. Every mark and natural variation tells a story, developing a rich patina that makes every piece uniquely yours.

    INTERIOR

    100% RECYCLED LININGS

We are replacing 95% of our fabrics with 100% recycled PET from discarded bottles. Our innovative process transforms plastic waste into a high-performance, water-resistant polyester that prevents landfill buildup for over 1,000 years. By choosing our infinitely recyclable linings, you are supporting a circular system that aligns modern production with nature’s ecosystem.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is this purse made from, and how does the leather age?

This purse is crafted from full-grain, naturally tanned cowhide leather -- a premium material selected for its durability and rich character. Unlike synthetically treated leathers, the natural vegetable-tanning process means the hide develops a unique patina over time, deepening in tone and character with every use. The result is a purse that looks better the longer you use it, with a finish that becomes distinctly yours.

How many cards and coins can this purse hold?

This purse is designed to hold all your essential cards, notes, and coins in dedicated compartments -- with space for up to 12 cards, your debit, credit, and loyalty cards all have their place, alongside a secure coin pocket and full-length note section. The layout is engineered so you can find what you need quickly at the till without fumbling, and the slim profile is maintained even when fully loaded.

    Is this purse RFID secure?

Yes -- an RFID-blocking lining is built into this purse, preventing unauthorised digital scanning of your contactless cards and personal data. Simply keep your cards in the designated slots and your sensitive information is shielded from electronic pickpockets -- whether you're navigating a busy train station, airport, or city street. There's no activation required; the protection works passively the moment your cards are inside.

Will this purse fit in a handbag without taking up too much space?

Absolutely. This purse is engineered to stay slim -- even when loaded with cards, coins, and notes. The leather compresses slightly with use, conforming to the shape of its contents, which means it actually gets slimmer over time rather than stretching outward. The result is a compact profile that slips easily into a handbag, clutch, or jacket pocket without creating unnecessary bulk.
